Trypan Blue
Task: Measure viability of HeLaT4+ cell culture using Trypan Blue stain.
Sample: HeLaT4+ (Human cervical epithalial carcinoma cells)
Run Conditions: 14x magnification. The cells were stained with Trypan Blue and analyzed for size, concentration, and transparency.
Analysis: A size filter was used to isolate the HeLaT4+ cells from media particate. A transparency filter was subsequently used to identify live vs. dead cells. Live cells had a mean transparency of 500 units. Dead cells had a mean transparency of 270 units.
