Yeast Analysis

Task: Record the morphological transformations of Candida albicans and its progression towards a more infectious state under various environmental conditions.

Sample: Yeast (Candida Albicans) , plated on NSA and SDA, inoculated and suspended in saline (0.85% NaCl), no staining.

Run Conditions: 5x and 14x magnification. The cultures were analyzed for size, concentration and cicularity.

Analysis: Size increased and circularity decreased as the organisms exhibited budding and transformed into infectious hyphae.
